Are you married kids, pets, etc? -I have been happily married for 18 years, and have 3 wonderful kids who are 15, 12, and 7.
Do you have any hobbies? - I love working with other moms to help them reach their goals. Family is important, we love to camp. I also enjoy reading and walking.
What made you decide to join your direct sales company? -I wanted a company that would let me work from home without selling products, carring an inventory, collecting money or doing home parties. Our team suited my family perfectly, I also love the support and training.
How long have you been in business? - I have been in business for 6 years.
What do you like best about the company? - Where to start, there is so much I love about our company. The products are things we all need and use on a daily basis, but what I love about them, is the fact that they are safer, healthier, and cost effective for everyone. Our company cares about the average person. They want to help people improve their health, have a safer home, help make the environment a better place for us all, and to help us financially. They constantly seek to improve our lives through the products and the compensation plan.
What has been your biggest challenge? My biggest challenge is sticking with my business hours and helping other moms also set a workable schedule with family and income goals.
What has been your greatest strength? - My greatest strength is the ability to multi-task. I can work my business and keep the kids happy (without uisng tv as a babysitter) much of the time.I also love what I do, so my business is a big part of my day.
What has been your biggest achievement? -My biggest achievement was taking the step to make a difference for my families future. So many people say they want a better life, yet they don't do anything to make a change.
What advice would you give women starting out in home business? - Find a business that excites you, be realistic in your goals, you won't get rich overnight.Be prepared to work hard but know the rewards are so worth it!
How do you balance work and family? - I set business hours and try to stick to them. I also am good at multi-tasking. I sometimes make a list of what needs to be done that day, and I just do what is priority.Family is the reason I work from home, but I also have to work my business if I want a paycheck and my kids know that!
How do you promote your business both offline and online? - I work mainly online, so promtion is done at home. I do put up some flyers and a have a car decal. Online I have paid ads, do some free posting of ads, have a few newspaper ads, and parenting magazine ads that I split with a few others to help the cost.
What are your business goals for 2010? My goals for 2010, are to partner up with 2-3 moms who are truly ready to change their future and help them do that. I love that with our business, we succeed by helping others succeed
