Company Profile: Tomboy Tools was founded in 2000 by Janet Rickstrew and Mary Tatum in
Denver, Colorado. These women had a bold dream to provide hands on training and high quality tools for women around the world. The "party plan" business model supported this dream. Tomboy Tools teaches women how to beautify their home in a fun non-intimidating environment. The Tool Party format was launched in the U.S. with incredible success in late 2002. Two years later Tomboy Tools Canada, a division supporting all Canadian operations, debued. In 2005, Tomboy Tools UK, a division supporting United Kingdom operations, was created. Over the past decade, the company has grown from less than 1,000 square feet of warehouse space to over 15,000.
